An Injection of Fresh Personality

The power, pop and energy of influential modern talent alongside a brand known for its connection to the edge of fashion combined together in Stuart Weitzman’s Spring/Summer 2019 campaign, creatively concepted, directed and produced by Wednesday and photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. The goal was to make Stuart Weitzman far more modern and relevant to today’s millennial audience.

Starring Kendall Jenner, Yang Mi, Willow Smith and Jean Campbell, the campaign film featured the talent in a unique and contemporary choreographed walk, emphasising a dynamism and direction completely at home in the modern fashion-entertainment context. Launched at the peak of New York Fashion Week, the campaign was distributed through social media, the hashtag #SWWALK encouraged followers to participate in the campaign by recreating the walk themselves. The result was a fresh take on the brand that equally stayed true to the iconic codes of Stuart Weitzman known within the fashion world and beyond.
