Wednesday are proud to announce that the final instalment of ‘The New Icons’ campaign is now live.

Wednesday, in collaboration with Saturday, brings to life an exciting new campaign for Swedish high-street brand H&M, celebrating ‘The New Icons’ – Joan Smalls, Daphne Groeneveld, Liu Wen and Lindsey Wixson.

The second phase of the campaign is about creating content with social equity as H&M gets up close and personal with the girls, featuring exclusive original content from each icon. The content includes an immersive digital interactions through Instagram feeds, personalised playlists, behind-the-scenes images, one-on-one interviews and much more.

H&M Fall campaign, music video and signature style app are now live

Wednesday-London is happy to announce that we are working, once again, with H&M for the online launch of their Fall 2012 campaign, their first ever music video commercial and a unique Facebook app – Signature Style.

Wednesday has worked closely with the Swedish High-Street colossal & Saturday to assist them in the realization of the campaign heroing the  David Lynch-inspired Music Video. The video, directed by Johan Renck, features singer Lana del Rey, performing her rendition of ‘Blue Velvet’.

The Fall 2012 campaign site has been designed to represent the collection within an eccentric atmosphere that is inspired by the key colours of the collection. The fall collection is also showcased in a 360 degree interactive and shoppable lookbook.

Together with H&M’s first music video and the online release of the Fall Fashion 2012 collection, is the launch of the Facebook Signature Style app. The app highlights Lana’s unique style and gives users the chance to share their signature style with friends and  fans. The most creative comments win amazing prices including Lana’s latest album and a trip to New York , with the opportunity to meet Lana herself.

WEDNESDAY ARE WORKING WITH CALVIN KLEIN

To promote the Global launch of their new underwear line Push Positive, Calvin Klein partnered with Wednesday to create a digital campaign that features model Lara Stone and supports the collection of bras in a variety of interactive mediums.

We designed and developed the Push Positive experience within the Calvin Klein site, which features an explanatory section on the bra as well as guide for each cup size. Wednesday also created an interactive Facebook application that allows users to share and post personalized images, as well as rich media banners that include campaign assets such as the video, shot and produced by Saturday.

Off-line, the Calvin Klein Push Positive launch will be supported in-store with campaign visuals and an in-store iPad application, designed and developed by Wednesday as an interactive sal
es and information tool for associates to use with clustomers. The interactive stations will be set up in select Calvin Klein Underwear stores worldwide.

MARNI AT H&M IS NOW LIVE

Wednesday is proud to announce the campaign site launch for Marni at H&M.

Showcasing the complete collection in a stimulating virtual environment reminiscent of the in-store experience. The playful collection has a strong modern aesthetic with an eclectic edge, enhanced by unique art direction of curated visual sets, displayed in a concrete infused contemporary design.

The website features a commercial by Academy Award winner Sofia Coppola, starring British actress Imogen Poots and set in exotic Marrakesh, Morocco. Fans will be able to shop directly from the commercial and see the products in real time. Additional exclusive content such as an extended version of the commercial and behind the scenes images, are available to engage consumers to better discover the world of Marni at H&M.

The playful and elegant collection will be available worldwide in 260 stores and online on March 8th. Just in time for Spring!

WEDNESDAY ARE WORKING WITH H&M ON THEIR LATEST DESIGNER COLLABORATION – VERSACE FOR H&M

Wednesday are excited to be working with H&M on the Versace for H&M collection. Covering a retrospective and re-interpretation of some of the house’s key pieces, the collaboration is H&M’s tenth designer collection and will include womenswear, menswear and, for the first time, homeware.

Following Alber Elbaz’s Lanvin for H&M that sold out within minutes around the world (another collaboration with Wednesday), Donatella remarked “I am thrilled to be collaborating with H&M and to have the opportunity of reaching its wide audience. The collection will be quintessential Versace, perfect for H&M and Versace fans everywhere.”

Moncler is live

MONCLER.COM IS NOW LIVE

Over the past months Wednesday have been working with Moncler on a range of projects launching throughout 2011; the first of these is the new e-commerce website for Moncler.com which went live this week. The site’s unique homepage design reveals new content through an innovative scrolling functionality while showcasing the diversity of the brand by creating a flexible, transparent system which allows the different collections to speak for themselves, helping to tell the story behind each one.

Wednesday’s approach was to create a site intended to elevate Moncler’s rich aesthetic and articulate its creativity. This continues right through to the art direction of the products on a black background, giving Moncler a clear and ownable product-visual aesthetic.

Since the rebirth brought about by chairman and creative director Remo Ruffini in 2003, the brand has gone from strength to strength beyond its origins in the Alps and is now recognised as one of the most creatively innovative and sought after labels in the industry. The new website is the start of a range of digital initiatives Wednesday is working on with Moncler.

Over the past year Wednesday has joined forces with the House of Balenciaga under the creative direction of Nicolas Ghesquière to create the new transactional home of Balenciaga.com.

Balenciaga has been an internationally acclaimed fashion house since 1937. Cristobal Balenciaga was deemed “the master of us all” by Christian Dior and since 1997 driven by the vision and the ambition of Nicolas Ghesquière the House came back strong as a leading player on the international fashion scene.

Wednesday have been working side by side with Balenciaga to interpret these timeless and unsurpassable designs into a digital transactional home. This new website’s creative concept was conceived with the intent of showcasing the immense detail that is crafted into each and every item whilst maintaining the refined and minimalist style of the house of Balenciaga. Fundamental to this concept, Wednesday created an innovative zoom function that enables the user to to explore and discover content throughout the site in two contrasting viewpoints wherever they are, creating both a seamless shopping and immersive brand experience.

In addition to Balenciaga.com, Wednesday have been working with the Maison on a Social Media strategy which aligns the brand with the social ecosystem of the modern world. This strategy will launch alongside the new website and evolve over the forthcoming months and years.
